About the Project:

Bounty Archive makes books for life, not the bookshelf.

“For [REDACTED]” is a very personal commission created in collaboration with Victor G. Jeffreys II, for an unnamed client.

This large-scale binding is comprised of more than 70 original cyanotype images, produced by Jeffreys using mementos, photos, and motifs inspired by the client’s personal history and relationship.

For this reason, the name of the client and any personally identifying information is not shared here.

Each page was meticulously and thoughtfully arranged by Jeffreys, before it was treated with sensitizer and exposed to light. The works read like recent but fading memories, with overlapped media and varying depth of exposure and clarity. Heavyweight drawing paper provides substance and security.

To protect and display this body of work, Bounty Archive bound the pages with a reinforced structure. Extra support was provided to ensure the longevity of the artwork, while still allowing the book to open fully flat on a table.
